ABA Therapy

Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA)

Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA) is a type of therapy that is commonly used with children on the autism spectrum. In order for it to be effective it must be intensive. Intensive means the number of hours and the consistency of the therapy. Generally sessions last anywhere from two to four hours per day and in some cases it can be seven days a week. ABA is supervised by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst and delivered by a Registered Behavior Technician. Our school setting enables our therapists to deliver excellent therapy throughout the week and we have a consistent means of delivering the therapy. Our salaried positions ensure that we are able to hire the highest caliber of therapists.

Currently...

…there are 46 States that have passed mandates that require a minimum dollar amount that must be paid by an insurance company to cover therapies for children with autism. ABA is expensive and it is important to pass this expense on to an insurance company.

For more information about ABA please refer to the attached brochure from Autism Speaks.
