ABA Therapy for Children with Autism in Joliet

Now enrolling, The Place for Children with Autism in Joliet, IL will offer full-day, center-based ABA therapy in a preschool-like environment for children ages 2 – 6. Expected to open April 2022, our Joliet center will feature 4 large classrooms, 2 smaller classrooms, a nap room, an open gym, and activity rooms. Located in the Twin Oaks Place complex across from Inwood Golf Course on US-52, this autism center will serve Joliet, Crest Hill, New Lenox, Shorewood, Plainfield, and surrounding areas.

At The Place for Children with Autism, we combine one-on-one therapy with group activities to build life skills during the crucial developmental years of early childhood. Using individualized treatment plans to address the unique needs of each child and family in our program, our approach to ABA therapy is rooted in science, empathy, and dedication to positive outcomes.

The Place for Children with Autism has been given a 2-year accreditation from the Behavior Health Center of Excellence for outstanding service delivery in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). Behavioral Specialists

All our centers employ certified Registered Behavior Technicians (one-on-one therapists) and Board Certified Behavior Analysts to provide individualized care for each child. Our full day therapeutic program for children with autism provides one-on-one support, a structured learning environment, extra-curricular activities, and social skills groups.

For Spanish-speaking families, we provide Spanish language services as well as translation services. Our therapists also provide support and training for parents and caregivers.

With several autism centers for children in the greater Chicago area, and more opening throughout Illinois, our goal is to build on the foundation of your child’s success by helping them gain independence and preparing them with school readiness skills. Each child’s autism treatment is tailored to meet their specific needs and delivered in a one-on-one setting by a certified ABA therapist (RBT).
