About Our South Chicago Location

Welcome to The Place for Children with Autism in South Chicago! Our primary objective is to provide comprehensive and inclusive support to help children with autism reach their developmental milestones. Our dedicated team uses scientifically-proven ABA therapy to ensure the best possible results while maintaining empathy and compassion towards our clients. We take pride in creating tailored treatment plans that cater to the unique needs of each family and child in our ABA therapy program.

To provide a well-rounded experience for children ages 2-6 who have been diagnosed with autism, we offer a balanced solution that incorporates both individual personalized ABA therapy and group activities in a nurturing preschool-like environment. Additionally, we offer speech therapy to create a co-treatment model for children enrolled at our South Chicago center. Our expansive ABA therapy center in South Chicago is over 6,000 square feet and includes four spacious classrooms, a well-equipped gym, and a secure entryway.

We're conveniently located just a short 5-minute walk from 95th Street, and is an easy commute from South Chicago, East Side, South Shore, Chatham, and other nearby neighborhoods in Chicago.

The Place’s award-winning and accredited program provides individualized applied behavior analysis (ABA) services to children ages 2-6. Our model is unique in that ABA therapy is provided in a full day (8am-4:30pm) school-like setting. Throughout the day, there are several activities which mimic a traditional school setting such as circle time, music, arts and crafts, group snacks and lunch, and a variety of other activities to promote socialization with peers. Each child has a dedicated and qualified 1:1 therapist who will specialize in helping children meet critical milestones in communication, social, and behavioral domains.

Our approach to applied behavior analysis (ABA) is based in science and delivered with compassion by qualified therapists (RBTs) and Board-Certified Behavior Analysts.
