ABA Therapy for Children with Autism in Pilsen
Opening in July 2021, The Place for Children with Autism location in Pilsen opens in Summer 2021 and will provide full day, center-based ABA therapy for children ages 2 – 6. Our 6,900 sq ft Pilsen center is a few blocks from I-90 and features private offices, 4 therapy rooms, large activity and recreation rooms, and free street parking. Serving the Lower West Side, New City, Englewood, Hyde Park and nearby areas, The Place for Children with Autism in Pilsen will provide one-on-one ABA therapy in a preschool-like setting.

Our autism therapy services include:
Increasing Communication and Language Skills
Improving Social Skills
Building Executive Functioning Skills
Developing Independent Living Skills (potty training, etc.)
Developing Motor Skills
Our therapy program prepares children for the transition to a traditional school setting by teaching and developing requisite school-readiness skills and by improving the behaviors that may be an impediment to learning. We provide Spanish language services for Spanish-speaking families as well as translation services during parent training.

The Place for Children with Autism has been given a 2-year accreditation from the Behavior Health Center of Excellence for outstanding service delivery in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). The Place was also recognized as a Top 50 Healthcare Provider in the United States by the International Forum on Advancements in Healthcare.
All our centers employ certified Registered Behavior Technicians (e.g., one-on-one therapists) and Board Certified Behavior Analysts to provide individualized care for each child. Our full day therapeutic program for children with autism provides one-on-one support, a structured learning environment, extra-curricular activities, and social skills groups.
With ten autism centers for children in the greater Chicago area, and with two more opening in 2021, our goal is to build on the foundation of your child’s success by helping them gain independence and preparing them with school readiness skills. Each child’s autism treatment is tailored to meet their specific needs and delivered in a one-on-one setting by a certified ABA therapist (RBT).
